There's a Story Here...

Description

So, my friend and I were at the beach. There was an ice cream truck at the base of the Sumner cliff face. The ice truck said "Mr. Kool" on the side. In New Zealand "Mr. Whippy" is our national iconic ice cream truck. But sadly we weren't deterred by the dubious name change.

The man serving the ice cream was at least 70 years old. He told us about how he was from Oamaru. Oamaru is supposed to be a pretty spooky little town in the South Island.

My friend bought an ice cream that looks like the one pictured above. But I asked for a cup with a flake instead. So. He gave me a cup with a flake in it. I handed it back and told him that I'd also like some ICE CREAM with that please. So he laughed and put ice cream in the cup. Then he said that there seemed to be a problem: he didn't have any spoons to give me and then asked me how I was going to eat it. I replied that I didn't know and asked him back how am I going to eat it? He laughed at me. So I said that instead I would just have exactly what he'd given my friend.

So he began to make me a new ice cream on a cone. He held the cone in his hand, but then he sneezed, away from the ice cream making station, and towards the floor of his truck. I heard a clack. Then he bent over, stood back up, and then made a joke about his denchers falling out. He finished making my ice cream and gave it to me.

As we walked away, my friend asked me if that man's teeth had just fallen out. I told her I definitely heard the clack, so I believe his teeth had just fallen out and he'd put them back in. Then she asked if I'd seen him wash his hands. I said no, I hadn't seen him wash his hands. We agreed to stop eating once we got down to the cones.

To make this even funnier, while we were eating them on the sandy beach, a swarm of seagulls surrounded us. My friend's ice cream started melting all over her hand. So I held mine at an angle while I ate it so it only dripped onto the sand and not onto me. However, after a while I felt the cone start to weaken, and I knew that my ice cream was going to snap in half. It did. It fell into the sand in a big glob. The seagulls closed in, but a single giant one came and scared the others away. It practically inhaled my entire ice cream. It promptly puked it all back up, in very much the same form it had been consumed in, because of the sudden cold of it. Then it ate it back up again in pieces. It was gross.

I nearly wet myself laughing.
